Appointments
In 2024, 15 people were appointed at the University of Vienna, including six women (in 2023, 14 people were appointed, including six women). Four of the six women were appointed to the social sciences and historical and cultural studies.
33% of all applicants were women, and women accounted for around 40 % of those who progressed to the appointment stage. Exactly half of the reviewers and slightly more than half of the commission members were women.
